Moonee Valley Brass and the Development Band are both on hiatus over the summer. Both groups return for their first rehearsal on Monday February 2nd. Exciting news! We have been short-listed as a finalist in the Leader Local Grants Program! We’ve applied for funding for some second-hand instruments to allow us to continue to grow our Development Band program. The final winner of the grant is decided by popular vote, so we need your help! We would love all band members
Moonee Valley Brass is holding an instrument and uniform amnesty from now until the end of September! We’ve been fortunate to have a large number of people play with the band over the years however this has meant that sometimes equipment has been borrowed and accidentally not returned. Moonee Valley Brass is excited to announce that we have been awarded a Community Grant for 2014. We will be using our grant to hold a major concert at the Clocktower Centre later in the year. We would like to thank Moonee Valley City Council for this opportunity.

Moonee Valley Brass is excited to announce that we are the recipient of a $10,000 grant from the Strathmore Branch of Bendigo Bank. We have used this grant to purchase 2 new Tenor Horns and a number of small percussion items. We would like to extend our thanks to Bendigo Bank Strathmore for their generosity.
